Possibly the best performance I have seen was from The Takes on Tuesday. He was relaxed and genuinely connected to the audience, with great vocals from both him and his surrounding cast. Great song selection, stories, and stage set up. However, the only negative was Verizon amphitheater once again. The employees are rude and disorganized, from the parking lot to the gate and the seats. The food was expensive, stale, and horrible. It's a shame that a beautiful venue 10 miles from my home is so poorly managed. I will skip acts I love just to avoid going there, even though it is the closest to me. Since college campus in the 70s to stadiums and the fox theater, I have seen The Takes many times.
